In spite of a few spots of logical absurdity and quite a few overused and inaccurate Western clichés, Hand of Vengeance was a compelling story and well told. The writing was a cut above many of the cowboy tales on the market. I might even have awarded it 5 stars had it not been for the author's frequent disregard of the 3rd Commandment. I've read many Westerns in the past half century but have yet to see one whose authenticity and entertainment value were in any way diminished by the decision of the author to not take the Lord's Name in vain.Product details

Very interesting book from beginning to the end. Enjoyed reading this good western book. Kept me reading all of the great action.
Great western. Enjoyed reading it. Reads very easy. Loved the ending where he realizes that he wasn't doing this for himself.

This was a good, well written book. The author did a good job of keeping the action moving without a lot of gun violence.
